Pastor Ab Isong wrote: Mr. Aniekpeno Tom Mkpanang died! Yes he died in the hearts of many. Died and was buried on social media. He even read his own Obituary on his sick bed.
I don’t blame those who carried the news for verily he was closer to death than life hence agents of death were jubilating already for another untimely harvest.
But we serve a God who is a specialist in cracking palm kernels with egg to shame the stone and the same God will rather fetch water with basket to disgrace the bucket.
Just when all hope was gone, Jehovah Rapha stepped in. And the man the doctors gave 20 minutes to bid the earth farewell bounced back to life. (Sounds like magic isn’t it?)
Why did God do this?
December 18th 2018 Mr Aniekpeno defied all odds and showed up to give God praise at the Christmas choral which is his brain child.
He did like Job in Job 13:15
“15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:”
He acted as written in Esther 14:6
“Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”
He had a choice to stay back that day, but knowing he can’t worship a living God and see shame, No matter how frail he looked He still mounted that rostrum to glorify the holder of the key to life and death.
Aniekpeno Mkpanang Earlier today thanked God for standing by him through the valley of the shadow of death.
What he went through can be seen in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
“8 We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.”
Today just like the leper who returned to thank God, Aniekpeno did not only thank God, He appreciated all those who stood by him in prayers.
Congratulations to the man with 9 lives!
